  • This beautiful work of art celebrates GRATITUDE and THANKFULNESS.

This papercut is in the shape of a beautiful, pleasing circle. The filigree around the text is masterfully crafted on paper cut and in the center, the prayer is printed in traditional Hebrew text.

The text is taken from Psalms Chapter 100.

    The text in the circle:

"All who faithfully occupy themselves with the needs of the community, may the Holy One give them their reward."

    Hebrew:

"וכל מי שעוסקים בצרכי ציבור באמונה הקדוש ברוך הוא ישלם שכרם"

It is a wonderful way to look at life and this would make the most thoughtful gift for . . . anyone, really:

    A little bit about me:
My name is David Fisher. I was born in Jerusalem and I am an Israeli graphic designer. Utilizing a modern laser cut technology, I have made it my goal to revive the traditional Jewish art form of paper cutting, which goes back to at least the Middle Ages. Together with my expertise in paper cut art, Hebrew typography and the technique of arranging and designing text, I joyfully create these acclaimed works of art, which are beautiful portrayals of Jewish blessings, prayers, symbols and decorative motifs.
